ECR PROGRAMME
The Early Career Researcher (ECR) programme is available for in-person delegates only.
It offers an opportunity for anyone who considers themselves as an ECR to meet new and old friends, to develop connections in their research area and to support their research career. Please note that we invite all PhD students, grad students, postdoctoral students, early career academics and those on new appointments to join these activities.
INFORMAL GET TOGETHER
Join other ECR’s in the heart of Durham City on the evening of Monday 6th July to kick off the conference! Drop in for a drink, a bite to eat, to compare notes from your pre-conference workshops, or just a friendly chat. Enjoy meeting with friends both old and new.
Location: To Be Confirmed
TUESDAY LUNCHTIME LOOKOUT
Look out for our ECR team wearing their purple Durham Department for Sport & Exercise Sciences T-Shirts during the lunch break on Tuesday 7th. They are keen to meet you and introduce you to other ECRs who have travelled to the conference, so head on over!
EAT. MEET. LEARN. REPEAT!
Wake up on Wednesday morning (8th July) and come to meet and develop relationships with different researchers from your research area. Grab a pastry, meet like minded people at different stages of their career, ask any questions and chat about whatever topics are of interest to you. Learn from each other, then do it all again at another table!
Location: Kingsley Barrett room, Calman Learning Centre.
